Let’s suppose that a conical derivation needs to be built to switch a damaged part in the tubing:
 
     
 
 
     
 
The dimensions of the part to be built are known and the cylindrical part forms and exact angle of 60º with the horizontal line of the main pipes.

  A problem that may occur in the assembly

Suppose that while assembling the part, the cylindrical share be assembled with a small deflection in the 60 º angle (and suppose the deflection is of 2º). This is easy to happen, since the use of angles as reference in assembling is always likely to contain errors.
 
     
 
 
     
  Solution of the problem using CALDsoft

The CALDsoft7 posses the great advantage of working in 3D and enables the measures of assembly to be easily extracted, as like this we can measure in the program, a distance of reference for the assembly, which will avoid the use of angles.

Every part (specially the bigger ones) can be controlled  during the assembly, using either the Dimensions in 3D view of the “Results” screen, as the 3D detailed view (with the distance among points), this way the project , already exact in the unfold of the parts, also becomes perfect and exact in the dimension, while assembling and welding. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
It’s also possible to print of the 3D view, aside the exportation to any CAD program, being possible to simulate before really producing the part.
